Come here for a meal right after seeing Sunny Hills, Minamiaoyama. You can order nicely cooked egg salads, French sausages and boiled eggs. Taste good French toasts, acai bowls and Dutch pancakes that are served at this cafe. A lot of visitors order great latte, tea or lemonade.
The courteous staff meets you at i2 cafe all year round. People mention that the service is spectacular here. You will certainly appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and fine decor. Google users are quite generous with this place: it was rated 4.8 stars.

The German pancakes are amazing! I thought they would be more on the crunchy side but it was super soft. Bananas had hardened sugar on top and came with vanilla ice cream. Hazelnut coffee was also very nice! We had to wait around 15-20min to get it but it was worth the wait :) Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came specifically for the Dutch baby, and left a little underwhelmed. The presentation is eye catching that’s clearly what draws people in but the taste doesn’t back it up. On its own, it’s doughy with very little flavor. Whatever enjoyment you get comes from the ice cream, syrup, and powdered sugar piled on top, not the Dutch baby itself. Honestly, anyone who can make decent French toast at home could pull this off. Service was average, nothing notable in either direction. One thing to note there’s a one drink per person minimum. Fine if you happen to be in the area, but not worth going out of your way for. Also internet was spotty at best. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I2 Cafe was an amazing experience. The space felt warm and cozy, with a beautifully designed atmosphere that made it a pleasure to be in. The food was delicious, and the customer service was exceptional—staff even came out in the rain to offer us umbrellas while we waited. Highly recommend!
