名古屋・錦のピアノバー「イフ」は、扉を開けた瞬間に落ち着いた大人の空気が広がる店だった。棚にはマッカラン12年がずらりと並び、シャンパンもモエやヴーヴ、ドンペリまで揃っていて、どれも丁寧に手入れされたように美しく光っている。壁一面に残されたサインの数々を見ると、長く愛されてきた店なんだと自然に伝わってくる。 静かすぎず、騒がしすぎず、ピアノの音がちょうど良い距離感で響く。会話を邪魔しないのに、音楽があることで空気が柔らかくなる感じが心地いい。錦の喧騒から少し離れて、ゆっくり飲みたい夜にはぴったりの場所。 お酒はどれを頼んでも外れがなく、ウイスキー好きには特に嬉しいラインナップ。値段も分かりやすく書かれていて、初めてでも安心して頼める。しっかり飲むのも、軽く一杯だけ寄るのもどちらも使いやすい。 派手に盛り上がる店ではないけれど、音楽とお酒を落ち着いて楽しみたい時にはちょうどいい“錦の隠れ家”のようなバーだった。 The piano bar 'If' in Nishiki, Nagoya, was a place where a calm, sophisticated atmosphere enveloped you the moment you opened the door.
