Caution. There's a cover charge and I sure couldn't find any notice about it. Or maybe it's for a doodle I should have asked for? Perhaps mentioned on the website, but not in the reviews and I checked carefully around the entrance as I left. Or maybe they even warned me as I arrived? But I remember my usual cafe focus on whether it was okay if I just wanted a drink after having already eaten... Anyway, I took away a star for that surprise. About 15 seats in a very airy third floor space with a nice view. Good location that has caught my eye a number of times. Almost undecorated. Doodling piano music with no ID. Perhaps related to the crayons for doodling in a cup on each table? Very quiet in the afternoon, but obviously emphasis is on the bar at night. Interesting list of bar-related precautions such as not banging glasses together for toasts. A bit surprised that it has Wi-Fi. Coffee and snacks both above average, but so is the price. A salty boiled quail egg? Some of the food offerings did look interesting, but I didn't try them, so overall I'm going to hold it at a flat four stars [then reduced to three stars per the first paragraph].
