Professional, personable staff and clearly hardworking. The coffee tasted like a darker roast on both visits, though it may be a well-developed medium roast. They run a three-group La Marzocco espresso machine, and the lattes are smooth and not at all bitter, which tells me they’re pulling their shots really well. The shop has a comfortable feel that makes you want to nestle in. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is obviously popular with a wealthier crowd. The coffee was good, but the food was disappointing. They didn’t get a single name right on the coffee or food orders, and one of our meals was made incorrectly. When someone in our group went to ask about fixing it, they actually ended up walking into the kitchen themselves to get it adjusted, which felt awkward and unprofessional. It’s a cute space for coffee and conversation, but there isn’t much room inside or outside, especially for a larger group. Overall, it’s fine for a quick coffee stop, but the food and organization could use improvement.

Good coffee and a nice change from the local Starbucks. The folks behind the counter are very nice and the coffee was very good. I don't particularly like the Starbucks in Ketchum. I don't find the Starbucks staff to be very friendly despite the fact that most people in Ketchum are very friendly. You will enjoy your visit to Java on Fourth
