Lucy is back with a vengeance! I had been afraid they were going to be a pandemic casualty.. but they are back and as delicious as always the menus somewhere Limited at the moment but that doesn't mean there's not something amazing to have. We had the combo platter, which we have always had and founded to be a satisfying and tasty as always!

If you're looking for a charming, authentic, healthy and unique experience, this is the place! A group of 5 of us walked in and were greeted by Abba with smiles and menus, (which, by the way were very diverse and educational... how many unique restaurants actually educate you on the culture and cuisine?). Samosas came out first, and they were pockets of perfection. Perfectly cooked and flavored, one order to split is the right amount for two people. The lentil Samosa won our table between the 5 of us! The beef was wonderful as well! Our entrees came out with great timing and the servings were plentiful! If you want to try something new, try the platters: they are not only beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, but perfectly portioned and enough for the whole table. Additionally, the chai tea was the best any of us had ever had- EVER. Delicately spiced and sweet, it's the perfect treat. Finally, although I am an adventurous spirit, my boyfriend is not, and they were incredibly accommodating... my boyfriend ate his entire meal and liked it! Long review short, Lucy East African Cuisine was the highlight of our week. It's absolutely worth a trip for amazing, comforting cuisine and a genuine atmosphere. We will be back, thank you for the wonderful experience!
