Nestled in a modest spot at Chome-3-9 Minase, Mamma offers a cozy and quiet dining experience in Shimamoto. Known for its great coffee, this restaurant is popular among locals for lunch and dessert. The interior design, featuring white walls and wooden accents, evokes a charming southern French ambiance, creating a comfortable atmosphere for diners to enjoy.
Mamma provides table service and has a reputation for friendly ownership and tasty dishes. Although the establishment accepts reservations, note that it operates on a cash-only basis, which might be worth keeping in mind before you visit. The lack of a menu could be a challenge for first-time visitors, as offerings are conveyed verbally, and operating hours can also differ each day from Thursday through Sunday.
While it serves alcohol, beer, and coffee, the lack of wheelchair access might pose a limitation for some. Reviews suggest that while currently up-to-date offerings could be unclear due to the absence of menus or recent updates from management, regular patrons enjoy the homey, hidden-café feel it offers. Located conveniently between JR and Hankyu, the cafe can be reached on foot, making it an untapped potential for those who love discovering quaint and cozy meal spots.

Meal type: Other Price per person: ¥1–1,000
