Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. We ordered the most extensive course with wine pairings and the food was absolutely delicious and flawlessly prepared, but possibly lacking the innovation expected at the price point. However, the chef here is obviously quite talented. One of the shortcomings is that the wines were all French, not Italian. Everyone at our table found this to be unusual for an Italian restaurant for pairings with Italian food. The wine itself, however, was delicious. But we would’ve preferred Italian wines because that was the expectation. Another shortcoming was that the servers do not speak enough English to adequately describe each dish, the wine, or answer any questions about the food. This is understandable in Japan, but disappointing at this level of dining. Also, I’m sad to report that our water glasses were empty a few times. The staff here are absolutely delightful on every other level. Price for 4, full course, wine pairings, sparkling water, tax ~$700 USD. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
