This restaurant was chosen based on its proximity to our place of stay, but also on information from residents and online reviews. I can say one thing: our first experience with Cretan cuisine, and it was a hit right away. The food was excellent, the toppings were nice, the service was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant's interior was interesting. At one point, the ceiling opened, revealing the sky, further enhancing the experience of being close to the beach and sea. We'll gladly return to try other local dishes. We've been to Rethymno for 6 days during August. Out of these 6 days, on 5 of them we ate at Manolis Place. We just had to come back. The staff are very friendly, also the atmosphere. Even when the place of very crowded one night, they quickly found us a table. The food is tasty, and my kids loved it and just wanted to eat there. Even the vegetarian moussaka was good. Great place, definitely come back the next time we'll be in Rethymno . Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Vegetarian moussaka, Stuffed vine leaves, pizza, and more.
