Vegan Bakery Matoi is an absolute hidden gem. It’s tucked away in a quiet residential area, and the shop itself is literally just one small room at the entrance of a family home — but everything is 100% vegan and unbelievably delicious. A quick warning: they almost always sell out before 2pm, even though the official closing time is 6pm, so make sure you go early. If you’re driving, just be aware the roads around the bakery are very narrow, and depending on which side you approach from, you might end up going down a steep road. You can also come from the lakeside and walk up a grassy path. (Check my videos if you want to see the exact route!) Despite the tricky access, it’s absolutely worth the effort. The owner and her family are incredibly kind, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be going back.
