We had dinner here a few weeks ago and it was extraordinary in every way. We chose the smaller course set, and every item was a revelation. The restaurant is tucked away in a residential neighborhood between Osaka and Nara; I suspect that if it was in the center of Osaka it would be famous. What we paid for this great meal was a bargain, and we can't wait to return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lunch at ``Medicis'' in Tomio. This is a hidden Grand Maison located next to Ahiru Park. A beautiful meal with the concept of fresh fish and French cuisine. A word to Michelin: "I wonder if it's okay if I spit on it?"
