I haven't eaten at Pekin Tokyo in about eight years. Back then, the food was overly salty and the quality was about average. Deciding it was time to give them another chance, I'm glad that I did. The quality and taste of the food has dramatically improved. The salty sauces have been replaced with flavor and spices. I ordered the Pad Thai which was a delicious take on the traditional dish of Thailand. We ordered Sesame Chicken which before was way too salty. However, this time it was excellent! The Mongolian Beef was flavorful and the beef tender. Our server was very attentive and the restaurant was clean. The menu is simply huge and it will be interesting to try other dishes. If you happen to find yourself hungry and heading north on Southfield in Allen Park, give Pekin Tokyo a try. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
