EXTREMELY GOOD AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!!! This is a newly opened Mexican restaurant with amazing food!!! Everything is homemade and the menudo is awesome!!! 10/10 would recommend!!! Great music too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It literally feels like you're eating at someone's house. Incredibly welcoming, food and tortillas made from scratch, and the owner is personally making your plate. We came here not knowing what to expect and we're very pleasantly surprised! Will be coming back to try more. I had the chicken enchiladas, which came with a mini strawberry tamale on the side for a sweet little treat. Also, ceviche is served with the chips as an appetizer, which was the best I have had so far in reno. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Discovered Quesadillas Las Comadres during the Dumpling Fest and followed up the next Tuesday for their $3.50 Chicken Quesadilla (Quesadilla Tuesday). The owner has worked the front of house both times I've been there and has a happy friendly vibe. You feel her enthusiasm and drawn into her dream. Waits times for food, table, or check were short. The menu has breakfast thru dinner, soups to desserts. The restaurant space is tucked into the corner of the shopping square; its somewhat hidden next to another taco joint but I recommend you try them. Flavors are tasty. I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
