Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking.

Weekly visits to this gastropub might not be enough. Truly, few restaurants feel this relaxed and cook with so much gusto. Are you curious about those chickpea fritters with lemon mascarpone and wasabi or the truffle gnudi with pesto? You should be. Sea bream ceviche with chili oil is as bold as lamb vindaloo dumplings... More info

Rasa's tasting menu is perfect for a low-key yet flavorful dining experience. You get to sample a variety of dishes without committing to just one, and each course offers a unique taste. The pacing keeps it enjoyable and not overwhelming. It's a relaxed vibe with solid food—definitely recommended for a chill night out.

Thanks for sharing this, Salicia. It’s wonderful to hear the tasting menu hit that balance of relaxed and flavorful, with enough variety to keep each course interesting without feeling rushed. We’re especially happy the pacing worked well for a chill night out, and we’ll keep aiming for that easygoing experience.

Had a gorgeous evening here last night: the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The three of us split five dishes - as a vegetarian I was delighted to have five options, and we tried four of them (the salad, chickpea fritters, gnudi, and ravioli). The famous salad was a generous portion and worth the fame, and the fritters and gnudi were also wonderful. The ravioli was tasty as well, but felt skimpy as a shareable (just four ravioli in the order). We also enjoyed the amuse-bouche, and LOVED our dessert: an elevated ice cream sandwich with cardamom chai ice cream and apples. The patio was lovely, the tableware thoughtful, but most of all we appreciated the excellent service. Everyone was kind and attentive, and our server Laura went above and beyond chatting with us and suggesting a sparkler to commemorate a birthday that we had mentioned in passing. I would recommend Rasa to anyone looking for a lovely dinner out and will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $60–70

What a lovely evening to hear about. We’re so pleased the salad lived up to its reputation, and that the chickpea fritters, gnudi, and cardamom chai ice cream dessert all stood out for you. It’s especially nice to know the patio, tableware, and thoughtful touches helped set the tone. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Laura, too. Helping mark a birthday in a small but meaningful way is exactly the kind of moment we hope to create. We also appreciate the note on the ravioli portion, and we’ll keep that in mind.
