Very good dal/curry in nine-seat restaurant. We arrived 5 minutes before opening on a Sunday, and there was already a line; waited about 50 minutes for a seat - and it was worth the wait. FOOD: 4.5. Dal/curry is served with rice and vegetables. Butter Chicken and Spice Tree Chicken are apparently always on the menu, and two additional choices change weekly. The dishes are moderately spicy, with the exception of the Spice Tree Chicken (which sold out quickly the day we dined) which is very spicy. We two had: - 4.5: Seafood (scallops, shrimp, oysters) dal/curry - 4.5: Lamb dal/curry We shared a dessert, which nicely cut the spiciness: - 4.5: Pistachio sorbet We shared a glass of Lasso, which perfectly complemented and soothed the spiciness of the dishes: - 5.0: Lasso SERVICE: 4.5. Considerate. AMBIANCE: 4.0. 9 seats available, all inside. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000
