Had such a beautiful evening here and still thinking about it. Saidbh was an incredible host. I wasn’t planning on the tasting menu, but she thoughtfully curated a selection from the à la carte that felt so intentional and personal - every dish just was harmonious. The drinks were just as memorable: a stunning twist on a house Negroni, a crisp Chardonnay, and then Adam crafted a smoky Whiskey Sour and an extra dirty Vodka Martini that were genuinely perfect. Even from our table, the energy of the room felt alive in the best way. But I already know I’ll be coming back to sit at the bar next time, there’s something special about watching everything unfold up close. Everything here feels deeply considered - from plating to flavour combinations to pacing. Nothing feels accidental. Even the music and sound system are part of it (if you know H.A.N.D HiFi then run!). It all adds to this subtle but powerful atmosphere. It’s one of those places that feels both comforting and quietly exceptional. So much admiration for the care behind it all - excited to return! Price per person: €100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: Only one or two dishes with nuts, but ask.

The service felt disorganised throughout the evening. Our drinks arrived long after the first dishes had been served, and even then, they were brought out separately rather than together. The timing of the food was equally inconsistent: the first skewers arrived without the rice, which only appeared once we had already finished them. By the time the second round of skewers came out, the rice had gone cold. We were also being pressed to order more while we still had food to come. We had specifically requested to sit at the chef's counter when arrived, but this was refused despite it remaining largely empty during our visit, which added to the sense that we weren't being prioritised as guests with set menu. We didn’t feel like we want to continue with our dinner. One billing issue stood out: we were charged two separate €5 water fees, yet we had only ordered one bottle. A second was brought to the table without being asked for, and we were told the charge is €5 per person, a policy I have not encountered at any other restaurant at this level. To give credit where it's due, the drinks were genuinely excellent and the interior is beautifully designed. Some of the food, however, was slightly burned. Paying around €90 for two small skewers each, rice, and two drinks felt very difficult to justify given the overall experience. The card machine was put in front of us and then the waiter just walked away without even saying sorry or anything at all. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

stoke is definitely on the pricier side, but it delivers a great experience. The space is beautiful, minimalistic, with a strong mix of concrete and wood that gives it a refined but relaxed atmosphere. Even the speakers stand out as part of the design, and the overall vibe is effortlessly cool. It’s quite unusual in Berlin to find a place with this aesthetic that is so focused on meat, but they make it work really well. The service is exceptional throughout, attentive without being overbearing. The wine selection leans towards natural wines and is genuinely spectacular. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
