The food at Tabaq Restaurant is absolutely amazing, but the service definitely needs some improvement. We came here for breakfast and ordered the Puri Halwa along with a few other dishes. The flavors were completely spot on, the halwa puri was fresh, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for. The owner was also incredibly welcoming and friendly when we first arrived, which gave us a great initial impression of the place. Unfortunately, our experience was brought down by our waiter's slow pacing. He brought out only half of our order initially, and the remaining dishes took another 20 to 30 minutes to arrive. We ended up having to eat the first half of our meal while sitting around waiting for the rest, which was not amusing and completely disrupted the flow of our breakfast. While the kitchen clearly knows how to make authentic, delicious food, the front-of-house staff needs to work on coordination so that families can enjoy their meals together at the same time.
