the salmon was deliciousss and so was the steak grain bowl! super yummy and we got a cake thingy too can't rmb what it was called. it was a teeny bit too sweet but still ok, enjoyable and all good lunch! My favourite neighbourhood cafe. Really nice helpful staff, delicious and hearty food just a stone throw away from the city. I love the Grandma Lee's Congee with a medium steak on the side. I tend to take away my orders for convenience. But if you dine in, I would recommend getting a reservation to avoid disappointment. I ordered 3 breakfast sets via Food Panda. I was informed by the app that 2 out of the 3 breekafast sets were out of stock (avocado toasts). So they will only deliver 1 set. The delivery fee is $12! The restaurant staff should have called me and check if I would want to cancel the order or replace the avocado toasts with something else, so I don’t pay the $12 delivery fee for incomplete breakfasts to feed my family. This causes great inconvenience to your customer!! When I order from other restaurants like Paris Baugette, they always call when they run out of stock of a food item and check if we would like to replace with other items. This is a basic service standard you should provide to your customers! This would be the last time I’m ordering from The Ritual. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Please accept our heartfelt apology for the inconvenience caused by the unavailable avocado toast items and for the mishap on our end in failing to cancel your order. It is our usual procedure to call our guests to offer replacements when items are unavailable, and we deeply regret that we were unable to do so in this case. We unfortuantely do not have direct access to customers via FoodPanda. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to pay the full delivery fee for an incomplete order, especially when trying to feed your family.
