Come here for a drink after a long walk around Symbol Road Monument. Many people mark that the staff is patient at this cafe. But a number of guests who use Google didn't grant tree a high rating.

We stopped by for a quick coffee and a wonderful homemade lemonade with fresh mint. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, just like the other guests. The atmosphere inside is very cozy, like a living room and in general it gives away a very comfortable and familiar vibe. They also spoke English which was very refreshing as especially in Tsuruga most of the people we met did not speak any English. Price per person: ¥1–1,000

Tree Cafe is owned, managed and run by Chikasi and his wife Emi. It is a wonderful, almost Bohemian space to listen to and soak in the atmosphere accompanied by beautiful music played in the background. This unassuming gem is a must go to in Tsuruga, then to be repeated weekly as a tonic to soothe ones self from the rigours of modern day life. Highly recommended Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
