I was attracted to the deep feel of the place in front of Honjo Park. When the old man sat up to prepare the food, he served the customer in a leisurely manner, telling him he could sit down. Boiled food and edamame are served with beer. They also have sashimi and a decent izakaya menu. When you think of Honjo, you think of Sankakuage. It was a fun night, with the old man sharing the Akita Homare he was drinking.
