Sakura is a Japanese restaurant located on Yamatocho Oazaniiji in Saga, offering an authentic taste of Japan in a cozy atmosphere. Known for its alcohol and beer offerings alongside small plates, it provides a simple yet satisfying dining experience. The restaurant is particularly popular with solo diners and is noted for its warm, welcoming ambiance and engaging staff, especially the charismatic "mama-san" who extends hospitality with a smile.
Dining at Sakura involves table service and a menu that includes both fish and meat dishes, with options like sashimi and yakisaba receiving praise from visitors. Customers recommend reserving a table due to limited seating—roughly 10 counter seats and two tables—suggesting there might be additional space upstairs. Despite these positive aspects, it's important to note there are no updated reviews or information from the owner in the past three years, leaving some potential changes unknown.
Accessibility may be limited, as the restaurant does not feature a wheelchair-accessible entrance or car park, and payments are accepted in cash only. Fortunately, Sakura operates daily in the evening from 5 PM to 10 PM, providing ample opportunity for a laid-back dinner outing. However, delivery services are not offered, so patrons are encouraged to dine in for the full experience.

Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
