We got here about 7:30 on a Sunday night in early July. It is a small with 4 tables, two of which are more tatami style and 2 tables are traditional western style. They have a picture menu for English speakers although it is definitely more limited. Bring someone who speaks/reads Japanese or do GoogleTramslate on the Japanese menu to get the best options. Like many Japanese restaurants, they bring the food out as they make it. Serving sizes are generous and they are great on the refills too. She started us with water and then brought us iced tea. We also got a small scoop of ice cream at the end. My daughter thinks this is to buy them time while they calculate the bill. They accept credit cards and it was about $25 for three people, and we were quite full. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

We had the Nabe with duck meat and it was the most delicious Nabe ever. The store owners were incredibly kind and everything was handmade including the Umeshu and ice cream at the end. Absolute hidden gem! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
