SusuRu, situated on Kita-Koiwa Street in Tokyo, offers a dining experience focused on udon noodles with a nod to the Sanuki style. While this restaurant is relatively new, having opened its doors around June 2021, it has managed to fill up quickly during lunchtime, especially on Saturdays. Known primarily for their homemade noodles which possess a strong wheat flavor and delightful chewiness, SusuRu also delights diners with their well-received tempura options.
Despite its appealing offerings, information about SusuRu’s dining experience remains sparse across popular restaurant directories, with only a minimal presence on platforms like Foursquare. The lack of recent updates from the owner leaves potential visitors with little current insight into what to expect, relying mainly on past reviews for guidance. Operating hours suggest lunch is available each day except Wednesday, with extended dinner service on Fridays and Saturdays, and no information is available beyond these details. Diners interested in exploring local flavors might venture here for a more immersive Noodle and Tempura tasting experience amidst an otherwise low-profile eatery.

I saw it first on Google Maps. It is on the way from Narita Airport out K. Koiwa station to our Airbnb place. So I brought my family there when we arrived, and had our first Japan meal. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

A really special place for your noodle needs. The menu is simple but every single option is delicious. I found Susuru my final week staying in Edogawa ward and went multiple times. Incredible local flavors: the ingredient quality and care in preparation shines through. I recommend the curry ramen. Splurge for the extra toppings! I'll be back every time I return to Tokyo.
