This is an"Omakase" restaurant which in a sense means "trust us". I can say is that I completely trust the food and generosity of this small but amazing little restaurant. The subtle balance of tastes in every dish was amazing. We couldn’t speak Japanese and the shopkeeper could not speak English so we spoke through translators on our phones. So many of the dishes we knew very little about what we were eating which was an adventure in and of itself. We ordered the cheapest Omakase selection which was about 4,300 yen or a little under $40US and it’s amazing to say that the sashimi plate which is one of my favorite foods was one of the more boring dishes of the meal even though it was still terrific. The meal and hospitality was so amazing that I had tears in my eyes as we said goodbye to the shopkeepers. I have traveled a lot of places and had lots of very expensive food, but I will treasure my experience in this restaurant.
