Located on the bustling street of Junka in Fukui, Odmack is a small yet intriguing dining spot found in the basement of a building. The restaurant presents a unique challenge upon entrance due to its location, but guests are quickly welcomed by a warm host. The intimate setting primarily offers Korean cuisine and is characterized by a cozy counter-only seating arrangement that may suit smaller groups or individual visitors.
Although Odmack does not provide delivery service, it focuses on an engaging dine-in experience complete with a selection of alcohol, including beer, and tasty small plates. Known for its vibrant flavors, some notable menu highlights apparently include Korean sushi rolls with a generous filling-to-rice ratio and a distinct Korean-style omelet. Guests seem to appreciate customizations, such as choosing the tartness level for lemon sours. Other popular menu items are enjoyed; however, ordering specific dishes like Samgyeopsal in advance seems necessary, indicating a limited on-site prep ability or resource availability.
Operating from Monday through Thursday, Odmack opens its doors in the evening hours, extending to later times on Fridays and Saturdays, catering to late-night diners. While recent feedback has not been actively provided by the restaurant staff, reservations are advisable to ensure an optimal dining experience. This haven of Korean flavors caters well to those seeking a more intimate dining adventure in Fukui, though accessibility may be limited as facilities don’t currently accommodate wheelchair users.

Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
