Small hole in the wall place that has unbelievably cheap yet tasty food! The owner is an extremely friendly lady who chatted with us the whole time! If you don’t speak Japanese it may be a little difficult to order, but Google Translate is your best friend here. Definitely recommend! Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

外観は本当に食堂かも分からずまたオープンしてるのかも判りません。でもブラインドが少し上がってたらオープンしてるとのこと。中は学生食堂のような雰囲気です。実際別府大学の学生さんが多くグループで食事をされていました。メニューの価格は現在では信じられないような安さで40～50年値上げしていないそうです。またメニューも豊富でどれにしようか迷ってしまいます。おすすめはメニュー下の方に記載のある「とろろオムライス」390円とのこと。390円でもかなりボリュームがありそうでした。今回は「新サフランチ」（写真のご飯は大盛り）を注文しましたが次回は「とろろオムライス」にしてみようと思います。ちなみに学生さんが食べてるのを見ましたが「とろろ」は乗ってないみたいでした（笑）。 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
