My friends and I had a late lunch here on 2024.10.25. Frankly, we came here only because it wasn't too far from where we were hiking on the Tanesashi Coast, and because we wanted to try the Hashikami specialty of ichigo-ni. Our expectations were low, as roadside station food is seldom the best, and as uni wasn't in season. However, much to our pleasant surprise, the ichigo-ni here, in osuimono form, was delicious. We could really tasted the goodness of the uni and awabi, set in a very elegant broth. By the way, the pancakes and melon cream soda here were very good too. Meanwhile, we discovered two additional reasons to visit this place. Firstly, the view from this cafe was beautifully panoramic, as it had almost seamless large glass windows on the entire side facing the sea. Secondly, this roadside station sells an amazing array of fresh seafood. It would be perfect to buy some and have a BBQ somewhere along the Tanesashi Coast.
