Imasho is a self-service restaurant conveniently situated in the bustling station area at 6-1 Shimosekicho in Takaoka. Known for its stand-up dining experience, it offers a straightforward menu primarily focused on udon and soba noodles. The ordering process involves using a ticket machine, where diners choose their meals and then hand over the order ticket to the counter staff. Despite its central location, the restaurant maintains an affordable price point, making it a practical choice for many.
Visitors have noted the welcoming feature of being able to grab a meal without navigating through rain-soaked streets, thanks to its strategic position within the station building. Imasho operates daily from early in the morning until evening, making it a viable option for breakfast or a quick meal during a busy day. However, it's important to note the payment limitation to cash only, as credit cards are not accepted. Furthermore, takeaway options and outdoor seating are currently unavailable.
Despite past feedback appreciating its cost-effectiveness and the comforting taste of its offerings, no new detailed information has been shared by the establishment recently, leaving some aspects about its current status uncertain. For those looking for traditional Japanese noodles served promptly in a no-fuss setting, Imasho may still hold appeal, given its utilitarian charm and practical advantages.

うどん・蕎麦のサイドメニューとして「おにぎり」がありますが、昆布の消費量日本一の富山県らしく、同じおにぎりでも「海苔」だけではなく、「とろろ昆布」も選べます。
