Baozi at 包包

Not only should Carrot Tower be visited, but also 包包. Luckily you can degust Chinese cuisine. This restaurant is suitable for visitors who have a snack in a hurry as they can order dishes as a takeout. The atmosphere of hospitality of 包包 highly depends on the staff, that is well-trained here. If you want to enjoy spectacular service, you should visit this place. The quiet atmosphere makes a positive impression on customers. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

These are good, meat tastes fresh, smooth and not gamey. We stop by often for Banh Bao combo chicken and pork. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Like when your mom tries to recreate your favorite food from that dim sum place. Everything is there, but nothing really hits like the original either. No dramatic highs, no sensory fireworks, just quiet honesty in every bite. Is it because your mom isn’t good at cooking? Of course, she won’t be as professionally trained as a dim sum chef with years of experience, but she skips certain parts because the food is for you. No extra MSG, no excessive sugar, no unnecessary additives, no flashy dough shaping. The one and only goal is to nourish you, healthily. Shrimp bun with egg: very simple seasoning, comforting to the stomach rather than surprising the palate. Pumpkin bun: plain, no fuss pumpkin filling, loosely packed without anything added to bind it together. Rustic and unpolished. Sweet potato bun: the dull, soil reminiscent color is actually reassuring. It could have been made more visually appealing with modern techniques, but it wasn’t. Sesame bun: tiny compared to the rest, but exactly the right size. Otherwise, the richness of pure sesame would be overwhelming. And yes, pure sesame, no red bean paste padding the volume. Char siu bun: probably the most expressive one. It tries its best to follow the char siu template so you still get savoriness and depth, but not the flashy ruby red that often comes from coloring additives. The price is extremely reasonable. I will definitely grab some when I am in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
