Both Kowloon City and 台灣牛肉麵 are recommended for visiting. Among other Taiwanese cuisune places to eat at, this restaurant can be one of the greatest. But many guests are Facebook users and they rate 台灣牛肉麵 below average.

Not that great. The front door downstairs makes it look like a very high end Taiwan Noodle place (which is interesting) but once you get up the elevators you quickly realize it's actually a Chinese banquet style place that happens to serve noodles. The premium dishes like shrimp with garlic looked nothing like the picture on the menu. Regret going up, it was a tourist trap. The food is better than what I get in the states but in HK it was a waste of a meal. Abalone also wasn't as good as it should have been for the price.

Recommend any of the beef broth dishes because this place specializes in Taiwanese-style beef soups. The beef was so tender that it melted in my mouth. The broth was really flavorful and the noodles also hit the spot. It's super filling, so this is a great way to start off a day of sight seeing. I really wanted to try the pearl milk tea, but it is not available until after 1pm.

我的一堆外國朋友上年來港時，因為初到香港這個大都市，對所有事情都十分感興趣，例如為何公廁會那樣骯髒、為何香港的的士司機會那麼無禮和一些衣食住行等等的問題。而他們要靠我作他們的「盲公杖」，替他們找飲食的地方。我這個向來餵食的人當然知道一些窿窿隙隙去找食物，而其中我較喜愛而又價錢相當便宜就是台灣牛肉麵。其實回想起他們是叫我帶他們到地道的中式菜，我想台灣都半地道吧，哈哈。 我們到達後，先叫了一個擔擔麵，辣度適中，而肉碎味道十分好，不是太肥膩，而麵條都十粉爽，麵上的蔥花更是錦上添花。當然我們亦點了經典菜式－－小籠包，我的朋友不懂怎樣吃就被湯燙傷，其實應咬一個小洞，啜飲當中的湯後，才將整個吃光，而小籠包的味道是不錯的，只嫌皮厚了一點。之後點的牛肉米味道就普普通通，但都可接受。
