Clients enjoy the sights of Ginza Square and book a table for good dishes here. According to the guests' reviews, Cantonese dishes here are quite good and the menu is well-organized. Nothing can be better than ordering perfectly cooked pork, calamari and calamari fries.

But sadly, Facebook users who have visited this restaurant rate it below average.

FOOD: 2 SERVICE: 2 AMBIANCE: 2 VALUE: 1 Having been to Hong Kong many times and having experienced "real street" food from when they were served on the sidewalk to more recent restaurant type street food, I can say Mui Kee definitely lost something in the transition. Gone is the street flavors, the no nonsense efficient service or the value. We order a variety of Cantonese style dishes, including: 1. Garlic crab - a very "skinny" crab that was not fresh. This dish relies solely on the garlic for taste. 2. Fried intestines - unclean!! 3. Stewed pork w/pickled cabbage - a very traditional dish that should not have been that salty. 4. Deep fried squid - again, relied on the chili powder for flavor. 5. Sweet & sour pork - the only dish they got right. 6. Eggplant with minced pork - decent taste and size. This was not a good dining experience. The food was lacking in flavor, small in serving size and over priced for what we received. On top of that, it was extremely noisy, to the point it was becoming unbearable! DO NOT COME HERE!

Mui Kee is one of my most favorite restaurants in all of HK! The best way to describe the food here is, like... Hong Kong comfort food. There are so many yummy things to eat here. ADVICE: There are no English menus. Our server didn't speak English, so please bring a local friend. This restaurant is made for big parties, so bring a group! Just make sure someone either speaks or read Chinese. If you Google Map Mui Kee Cookfood Stall, it will take you to a different location (across the street and way over somewhere else)! Instead, Google the address instead - the location is down along Ladies Market. The restaurant is bright and airy that looks like a cute cafe. There's another location in TST, which I haven't tried yet, but apparently this Mong Kok location is nicer because the other is dai pai dong, which can be not as clean. Either way, good food is good food and I love it here so much! You must try: Stir Fried Black Pepper Beef Cubes Smoked Pork Knuckles Deep Fried Squid Stir Fried Morning Glory Salt and Pepper Tofu
