Both Yayoi Tengu and 峰 are recommended for visiting. The positive aspect of this bar is that the staff is terrific. Cool service is something guests agree upon here. Chanced upon this bar on Google while finding for a cocktail place. Uncle Mi-Ne was very friendly, welcoming and cute I just told him what I prefer; whiskey/gin and let him do whatever drink he wanna do and it was ALL amazing. He has been a bartender for 70 years and he told us that he enjoys drinking when he was younger, hence the place. We chatted for quite awhile before the crowd came in and was so amazed at how he is 90 yo and so healthy & cheerful He speaks English, definitely a foreigner friendly bar, will definitely be back when i come back to Beppu If any of my friends are looking for a cocktail bar, this is your place!! Thank you Uncle Mi-Ne and please always stay healthy!!!
