This restaurant offers nicely cooked soup, gyoza and miso ramen. Delicious coffee is among the tastiest drinks to degust. The cheerful staff welcomes visitors all year round. Nice service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of 楓家. As many reviewers say, the atmosphere is calm. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

This place is a lovely hidden gem in Higashinakano. I had the negi chashu ramen and 3-piece gyoza side dish. The owner/chef was a very kind and friendly man even with my very limited/broken Japanese. There is no english here, but you can translate the menu with a translation app, the food is worth it even with a language barrier. The ramen is delicious, prepared and served with care. The broth is rich without being too heavy, chashu was tender with good thickness and the gyoza was fried perfectly giving the best slightly crunchy texture on the wrapper, but still tender and juicy filling inside. The ramen portion sizing is generous and it was the best choice for a really heartwarming meal on a chilly rainy day. Highly recommend to try this place if you are in the area. This was the best ramen I have ever had, melt in your mouth pork. It was a beautiful cozy environment with the most lovely man hosting us. Great portions for a reasonable Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
