All the Chinese dishes here are delicious. As the name of the restaurant, ‘Volcano’, suggests, the spicy dishes are particularly delicious. For lunch, I always order the dry-style tantanmen, made extra spicy. In the evenings, you can enjoy authentic, delicious Chinese food at reasonable prices. A wonderful local Chinese restaurant with a very authentic neighborhood atmosphere. The seasoning overall is relatively light, but the flavors are thoughtful and comforting. The fried rice had a nostalgic, home-style quality, with a well-balanced combination of ingredients that made it very enjoyable. The wok aroma was present but not overpowering, giving the dish a pleasant depth without being too aggressive. The champon was excellent. The broth carried the natural sweetness of the vegetables, and the vegetables themselves were cooked perfectly — still crisp and vibrant. The restaurant feels very local, but the owner runs the place alone and pays close attention to the dining room, making sure guests are well taken care of.
