Nestled on Higashinobutaicho in Kyoto, 田和 is a Japanese restaurant known for offering a selection of comforting and varied obanzai dishes, aligning more with a homely dining experience than a typically lively izakaya. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere where small plates and a choice of beer and alcohol are available for enjoyment. Open every day from 5 PM to 10 PM, it accommodates both local patrons and visitors looking for a relaxed dining setting with table service and the advantage of making reservations.

Despite its inviting offerings, accessibility options are limited, as the entrance and seating arrangements do not cater to wheelchair users. Mixed reviews suggest a focus on serving neighborhood regulars, sometimes creating an unwelcome feeling for newcomers. Furthermore, the freshness of some dishes might be affected due to slower turnover, highlighting a potential area for improvement. Given that the only reviews available are over seven years old, potential diners might appreciate more up-to-date insights and an updated connection from management to accurately reflect its current ambiance and service standards.
