Don't go if you can't speak Japanese. My Japanese isn't great, but I've managed just fine at dozens of other izakayas. They did not explicitly ask me to leave, they just put on these pained expressions and were clearly relieved when I told them I was leaving. This was mid-week around 6pm and the place was completely empty. It did look nice inside. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
