The restaurant's food and interior
鮨勝 is a quaint sushi restaurant located on Keijo Street in Odate, right across from the City Hall. Known for its cosy and quiet atmosphere, this establishment offers both takeaway and dine-in options, although there’s no delivery service available. While the restaurant features a selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer, individual feedback varies on the overall dining experience. Some visitors have praised the quality of the sushi, while others expressed dissatisfaction.

The layout of the restaurant includes counter seating as well as two small raised seating areas towards the back, providing for various dining preferences. Operating hours are consistent throughout the week, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and closing at 10 p.m. every day. Details about the service indicate that reservations are accepted, but no recent updates from the owner suggest any changes or improvements to the establishment. Accessibility may be limited, as there are no wheelchair-accessible facilities.

The last recorded review dates back three years, thus current insights are sparse. Solo diners seem to frequent the spot, especially during dinner. While the offerings primarily focus on sushi, those visiting can also enjoy a range of Japanese alcoholic drinks. With sparse reviews and no new input from management, potential patrons might benefit from further research or consider a visit to form their own opinions.

A sushi restaurant in front of Odate City Hall. There are counter seats and two small raised areas in the back. I arrived at the store at 5:30pm on a Friday, and there were no other customers, so perhaps the volume of the TV was distracting me, and after calling five times, the general finally came out. It seemed like he was doing it alone, probably in his 60s. I had 5 servings of top sushi and took it home without a reservation. The taste was well received by my family.
