Jose was our server today and he was excellent. So patient and helpful with our 98 year old mother. The food is always good but Jose made the day much better. I hope everyone gets to meet this nice young man. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Listen… I walked into 2 Tha Joint Sushi expecting a Japanese culinary experience. What I got was Fear Factor meets Kitchen Nightmares: Sushi Edition . First off, the place is jail-themed—and not in a cute “Orange is the New Roll” kind of way. More like “I’m about to be sentenced to 25-to-life for eating this raw fish nightmare” . I sat down and the chair creaked like it knew what was coming. The sushi? Bro… the salmon looked like it had been caught during World War II . That fish died TWICE. I bit into a spicy tuna roll and swear to God, it whispered “help me” as it disintegrated into sadness in my mouth . The rice? Bro that rice wasn’t sticky—it was emotionally unstable. Crumbled like my hopes and dreams after dating my ex. One roll literally fell apart mid-air like a tragic anime character . The miso soup? More like “miss-you soup” because I instantly missed my dignity, my money, and functioning taste buds. It tasted like someone whispered “flavor” over a bowl of dishwater . Atmosphere? They got bars on the windows like I’m eating at Alcatraz Sushi Correctional Facility. I half expected the waiter to slap handcuffs on me and say “you under arrest for poor taste.” I was lookin’ around like “who do I gotta snitch on to get paroled from this all-you-can’t-eat disaster?” Service? The waiter brought me my food like it was a threat. Bro had the same energy as a villain revealing the final boss in a video game. He just stared at me like “Yeah. Eat it. I dare you.” ️ Bathroom? Let’s not even go there. I opened the door and it smelled like if soy sauce had a midlife crisis and moved into a sewer. I left with trauma and a yeast infection in my soul . — Final thoughts:. If you love sushi, don’t come here. If you hate yourself and want to experience raw seafood-based psychological warfare, this place is your personal hell. I came. I saw.
