Ive been eating at Adams since the 1960s hen my parents first took me there. Had many great meals there in the past. Went for dinner last night and ordered the prime rib medium rare which is my typical order when I eat there. The plate came out and i began eating it from around the edge as i always doe as its the outside of the roast and is typically very tasty as well as a bit more done which is to be expected. When I got to the center expecting red meat it was grey and dried out and I stopped eating it. When the waitress asked if I wanted to take it home i said no as it was way beyond well done and not medium rare as I had asked. Immediately I was chastised for eating any of it and the blame was put on me even though I had only consumed maybe 20% of it. It was also over an hour wait to be served after ordering. I was given 15.00 off the 47.00 price which was better than nothing. My only question is why would a kitchen send out something that was not anywhere near what i ordered. Incompetence? Or maybe the person in charge of the kitchen just doesnt care? Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $70–80

Wow, what a great find! During a recent business trip to Buffalo my colleagues and I were craving a hearty meal and decided to give Adam's Rib a try and it definitely did not disappoint! First, we were greeted and welcomed in by Mercedes (our friendly and attentive waitress). After hearing that it was our first visit, Mercedes took the time to share the daily specials. Decided on French Onion soup (get the bowl for the extra $1 vs the cup - trust me) and for the main entree I decided on the NY strip. The strip came with a salad and potato (I went with the sweet potato mash! - delicious) If you are in the area and looking for a local restaurant that serves good food and has great service - definitely give Adam's Rib Restaurant a shot! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $60–70
