This is the greatest spot near Hua Zang Si. Visit this place and enjoy Filipino cuisine. Don't forget to eat nicely cooked congee, fried chicken wings and vietnamese pancakes at this restaurant. Tasty egg waffles, French toasts and pudding can make a good impression on you. Most likely, you'll come back to Alnico later to try delicious Sangria, Mimosas or champagne. This place is known for great iced coffee, thai iced tea or horchata.

Alnico's modernized Filipino food has such a strong identity in such a competitive area. The Usher on aux, NBA games on the TV, and classic dishes like Chicken and Waffles bring familiarity to its specialized cuisine. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with their Ube Hotcakes and Ube horchata. The chicken and waffles were a slam. This is already such a classic combination of salty and sweet, but I really felt like it got brought to a new level with a southeast Asian fried chicken sauce. The waffles and syrup mixing in with the tangy chicken sauce was . Ube Hotcakes were great as well. They definitely top the meter when it comes to presentation although the flavor got a little monotonous and the Hotcakes a bit mushy. I would recommend sharing this item with others. Alnico stood out to me, and if you're here for good food experiences, then give this place a shot.
