Yoshoku no Asahi is one of those rare restaurants where the queue makes sense! I arrived just after 10am for the 11am opening, and there were already five people waiting. More people arrived, and on this rainy day, the staff kindly invited the first group inside before opening. This small gesture showed the strength of the restaurant's organisation. The room feels more like a neat dining room than a rough old cafeteria. The service is excellent, with several calm and professional women moving through the tables. The yoshoku is eaten with chopsticks, which suits the food perfectly! I ordered the beef cutlet. The meat was so tender that a knife would have been superfluous. What's remarkable is the preparation. The demi-glace had a clear ketchup flavour and felt more homely than rich, but it went well with the rice served in a bowl and the pickles on the table. The price is not cheap, but the balance is good. It's a Kobe yoshoku dish that's worth queuing up for! Recommended dishes: ビフカツとクリームコロッケ

We waited about 30-45 minutes in queue but it was absolutely worth it. The steak was one of the best steaks my partner and I have ever eaten. The staff was welcoming and some of the kindest people we came across during our trip. I would highly recommend giving this place a shot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had the opportunity to visit this establishment and got in after a brief 20-minute wait. Since we can’t speak Japanese, the owner explained everything to us and made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing!! We ordered the beef cutlet and the steak, and both were tender, juicy, and full of flavor! The owner was very sweet and asked us many questions about how we found her restaurant. All in all, it was a great experience, and we hope to come back again in the future.
