Very nice food, we tried both foie gras and cassoulet! Excellent service by young guys offering a very pleasant dinner. Not too much choice but that is a quality plus. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In a medieval city made famous at the time of the fourth crusade of knights in 1200 AD, there are many streets and buildings that shows signs of this extensive history. The Rue Saint-Louis is just such a street and this restaurant a perfect place to stop and take on supplies of food and drink. The cassoulet is cooked well with good flavours. They have a menu of the day that offers fish and meat. You can also order pizzas. Though tourists may sit immediately downstairs, there is in the back, a narrow staircase leading to an upstairs restaurant with its tapestry decorated walls of scenes from the past and old looking wooden tables attended by comfortable chairs. With pleasant background music and bringing good company, you will enjoy the respite from the crowds at Le Restaurant au four Saint Louis
