DISGUSTING WORKERS, assaulted me and verbally abused me at 10pm as a single mother with a child in the car. They regularly have staff asleep in the back at night when we need to pay for petrol first, I knocked twice and knocked the mental container for him to eventually appear, but was still respectful and said hello with a smile once he appeared. When he did appear, he SLAMMED the metal box out which hit my stomach exactly where I was standing. Now if I was pregnant what damage could have happened is explainable! When i calmly told him not to do that he shouted at me “WHAT DO YOU WANT”, I told him no, when you hurt somebody you apologise, he continued to shout and become aggravated. I refused to respond to anything except tell him that an apology due for such aggressive behaviour. Thank god there was another man behind me who witnessed this behaviour & told him to calm down. The man also refused to be served while he was being disrespectful to me but imagine if I was alone. I ended up leaving which is their loss. The service is disgusting and completely unacceptable, there’s no reason to treat anyone that way especially when I was just getting his attention to give MY MONEY, considering he wasn’t at his station, which I can understand since it’s late but that’s still his job to be there. If I was a different ethnicity and a man I guarantee his behaviour would’ve been so different. A simple apology would’ve sufficed. I shouldn’t feel unsafe in my own area much less by someone in an organisation and I will never accept such horrible treatment.
