When I was a lot younger, driving around the back roads of Texas, I learned that the best BBQ joints were the ones that had all the cars parked out front. They always looked decrepit, but the food was great and the atmosphere was authentic. I have just found that Nirvana in Montevidéo at Bar Cooper! There were at least 30 cars parked out front when we arrived, and the tables were full. We ordered a choripan and a plate of asado (ribs). Both were the best in town, as far as I'm concerned. They are only open for food until 3 pm, so get there early and enjoy!
