Food ok but not great. Told could only pay by cash as the card reader “wasn’t working”, but as I only had a small amount on me they took the rest on card. Overcharged us for items, wouldn’t give itemised bill either. Waiter got angry and aggressive after I challenged the price when I priced up our meal using the menu. Would not recommend, much nicer restaurants close by. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €10–20

Spent two weeks in Rome and every morning I started my day with a cappuccino and croissant from Bar Maggiore. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and a delicious start to my day. A convenient location and beautiful scenic spot in Port Maggiore. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €1–10
