We went here to have a quick dinner after an exhausting sight -seeing day. As it was quite warm, we sat outside. The noise from the square was quite loud, but tolerable. The menus were already on the table and we chose to have some beef with fried potatoes. After some time the waiter came to take our order and we thought everything was fine, but it took something like 45 minutes for us to get our food. We thought this was an "express" restaurant as the name suggested. The food was very disappointing. First of all, it was cold. The potatoes were obviously reheated, and the meat was tasteless. The meat was precut into pieces, some of which were inedible, very tough and gross. We were unable to cut it with the knife, let alone with out teeth. And it wasn't even cheap. After the "meal" we originally thought about getting a dessert, but now we just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. We waited for a waiter to bring us the bill, but he never came. Eventually I went inside to pay, and found out there was a 15 minute line for the cashier! For the owner: PLEASE HIRE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO WORK FOR YOU! I guess we could have left without paying and nobody would have noticed. Never again this place! Avoid! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40

This is a good little pizza place with a tremendous view of the piazza. It is good value, has good proximity to shops and stores, and has delicious food. The garlic bread in particular was outstanding and the margarita pizza was good. All in all, I would recommend the Barberini Express Roma as a good quick bite to eat.
