The Old Bell Inn is a quintessential village pub, but it has a secret ingredient, and that is that the chef is exceptional. The food was imaginative, well presented and very tasty. Combined with the charm of a village watering hole, one cannot go wrong finding a way to eat at this establishment. We would urge that a reservation is made, as many came in and sought a table but were directed to the garden (which is lovely but in direct sunshine on a hot day).the food received rave reviews when we were researching our journey and I can sincerely confirm that they are accurate reviews, and well deserved. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30
