You can come to this restaurant after seeing Norse Hall. Japanese cuisine is to the pleasure of all clients here. Try tasty kimchi, oysters and mushroom salads Biwa offers. The cooks here prepare good ice cream, chocolate pudding and friands. A lot of visitors order delicious beer, wine or whiskey. Visitors don't like tea at this place.
This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are acceptable. There is a pleasant atmosphere and cute decor at this restaurant. Biwa is popular among Frommer's experts since they gave it 2 stars.

Biwa use to be my favorite restaurant in Portland. It has dramatically gone down hill. The food selection is limited now and the quality has also suffered. The decision to make the restaurant more like a walk up counter has really hurt the overall theme and is not worth the price.
