We found the Bluebell Inn by chance today! We had a very warm welcome by Danielle, who was quick, efficient, and pleasant, as she took our order. The food was wonderful, and asked for or compliments to be relayed back to the chef. The Inn looked lovely from the outside, and the inside was just delightful! Jane who was also very personable came to see if we needed any deserts, or drinks. However we were so full with the delicious food, we had to decline. These two ladies are a credit to the Bluebell Inn. We will definitely recommend, and come again! Denise Anne Tams.

Lovely country pub and can't fault the food, service and staff but £4.50 for a bottle of heineilen no alcoholic beer is an absolute joke, phoned up when I got home to check if that was correct was told yes and there's nothing they can do about it. That is daylight robbery far too much of a hike up.

Avoid avoid avoid if celebrating! Having visited the Blue Bell in 3 times in the last 3 months, as the food as always been brilliant, we booked a table to celebrate my Mum's 60th birthday (I told the lady on the phone it was for this occasion when
booking). My husband wasn't convinced that this was the best to celebrate as he always says that the pub lacks atmosphere and isn't welcoming. I disagreed and my Mum was keen to visit again too. However, we were to be very disappointed. My father arrived with the professionally made birthday cake to be told we would not be able to have the cake in the pub due to health and safety. They would only ever it with a receipt of purchase, name of person, their address etc whi h I'd never dreamt to take with me as we've never had this problem (we took our own cake to our wedding and to kids parties before). Whatever problem the man serving is came up with once answered he found another. problem. Avoid at all cost if you want a celebration party....this probably accounts for some of the lack of atmosphere in the pub.. Despite the great food I shall not be recommending any more and will avoid avoid avoid! Such a shame!
