Blue Sushi Sake Grill is a nice, large sushi spot in M-K-T Heights right off the trail. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and is a great place to go with friends. Our waitstaff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the meal. We had reservations and still had to wait about five or six minutes for our table, which really wasn’t a big deal at all. The place was pretty busy, though, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go during a popular time. The sushi itself was good, but nothing really stood out. It feels a little more corporate than some of the smaller sushi places around Houston, and the food was solid but not particularly memorable. Prices were reasonable for what you get, and overall everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was perfectly fine. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here specifically for the sushi, but if you’re already at M-K-T or looking for a nice, easy place to grab sushi with a group, it’s a solid option. Good location, good service, nice atmosphere, and decent sushi. Food was unbelievably delicious! Our waitress (Anna) was the sweetest and so helpful with recommendations! Atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable … will definitly recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
