Enjoyed a lovely birthday evening at the Blue Mermaid last Thursday. Beautiful and classy decor, enjoyed the soft background piano music. The food was delicious although the oysters Rockefeller were prepared differently than I have had in our hometown province of Nova Scotia. The lamb and shrimp dinner and the King Crab dinner were superb! We also requested a taste of Pickerel, which was the special of the evening. Our waiter brought us a full filet and I have to say, the Pickerel was the star of the evening! Delicious! Thank you for making my birthday dinner so memorable! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
